fuel sender question....

I will be running an inline pump and wont be using the stock tpi in tank pump anymore.

I decided to just modify a stock sending unit Name: IMG_4197.jpg

I used a brass compression fitting with brass inlet tube. I also plan on brazing the fitting together so it wont loosen up.

Will that work out ok?

I wouldn't bother brazing the fittings.

You need a pick-up sock, like the sticky in the top section of this forum describes. https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/carb...nk-pickup.html

No. The gas tank is a reasonably inert environment as long as you don't have water sitting in it.
