carb problems
i dont know a whole lot about carburetors but i recently converted mine to e 85 and hooked it up today primed the fuel pump and gas started coming out of the vent on the front of the carb main body and is just pouring into the carb on the otherside can anyone help me out here im thinking its the floats but honestly i dont know how to preset them after the conversion thanks

You don't have to change the float settings just for E85.
Can we assume this is a Holley with externally-adjustable floats?
Start with the floats set low, and adjust them up with fuel being supplied to the carb (if you have to run the engine to adjust the floats, that may make it a little more complicated).

The floats, sounds like you need to adjust them down a hair..Been doing a lot of looking around on the net about e85 and am thinking about doing it, look to raceone85.com for help. Good Luck
