Help Needed

I recently replaced my fuel pump on my 83 TA, It has a a stock 4 barrel
rochester carb. I took the fuel filter out and installed a external one.
Then I replaced my fuel pump with a edle brock Performer RPM.
High-volume, 3/8" NPT inlet and outlet surpasses the capacity of conventional models. Produces 6 psi and does not require a regulator.

Now a few weeks later I have gas leaking out of the bottom of
my carb. Can this be too much pressure. what can I do.

Re: Help Needed

Need more specific info, for example where exactly does the carb leak? You said you removed the fuel filter? What for? Did you replace the plastic gasket that goes on the fuel filter housing? Is the fuel filter housing loose? Is the fuel inlet line loose? How long have you had the car? Has the carb ever been rebuilt? Leaking fuel is a serious concern.

The carb. leak is on both sides of the carb only, mostly when I shut the car off.
The the fuel will drip out of the sides. All fuel connection are tight with new clamps.
Had the car for almost a year. I sprayed it down with carb cleaner let it sit
for a day and now it fine. Maybe the floats or something was stuck.
