Carb
Hey guys, I just bought an 1987 Camaro and I believe the old carb blew and they put on an Edlebroc carv, the fuel line hasn't been reatached and the throttle hasn't either.
Reason I'm posting is because I'm not sure if there is anything else that needs to be done before reattaching those lines and adding the element.

What distributor?
If the transmission is a TH700, you'll want to put a "geometry corrector" bracket on the throttle arm for the TV cable. Just hooking it up to the bottom of the throttle arm isn't good enough.

The only automatic available beginning in 1984 was the TH700. If it's an '87 and the transmission is stock, it's a TH700.

Re: Carb
Ok, thanks, if TH700 is the stock one back in those years, it must be then.
Next question, I do need thise geometry corrector for the edlebrock carb? or is it for a specific model?
Thanks

You need one made for Edelbrock carbs. As far as I know, there aren't different brackets for different Edelbrock models (Performer vs. Thunder series, for instance).
