Holley 4bbl - Where To Hook Up PCV Valve?

Read the previous descussion up until this point here:
https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/tech...l-burning.html

Basically, my car burns oil out of one valve cover breather, I need to hook up the PCV valve to suck the oil and reburn it, but there are no open vacuum outlets.

Any and all help would be appreciated!

Use the large vacuum nipple on the base of the carb (usually on the back).

Hook your power brake vacuum to a runner on the intake manifold.

Re: Holley 4bbl - Where To Hook Up PCV Valve?

Okay, just to clarify, there should be a nipple on the intake?

i have the booster vacuum hose hooked up to the large nipple on the back of the carburator right now...

i don't think there's a nipple on the intake, or atleast i haven't seen one. I have an aftermarket edelbrock intake on there now, where would it be?

Look behind the carb on the intake runner that goes to the passenger side of the engine. It's clearly visible in the picture in the link you posted.

Yep, the giant threaded hole just behind/below the carb. If you are running a vacuum secondary Holley, you'll need the special 'low profile' 90* fitting that Edelbrock makes specifically for this reason (a normal 90* fitting won't clear the rear fuel bowl).

If its a double pumper, you'll need a small carb spacer and the low profile fitting.

You'll have to buy a hose barb as well to install into the 90* fitting, but they can be had for a couple bucks at any auto parts store.

Heres the pic of the fitting (Edelbrock P/N 8096):
