Good timing for a Carbed motor?
I recently did a cylinder head swap on one of my cars and was wondering what a good initial timing would be. It's got an Edelbrock 600 carb and intake, and from what I understand it has a mild cam in it too. I'm not sure what the compression ratio is because the guy just said it had 11:1 pistons. I do know this though, the heads that are on there now are 75cc with 1.94" intake and 1.5" exhaust and when I saw the pistons they were domed and had 030 written on them. Thanks.

You mean 36* total timing, right? As far a setting base timing, most start at 10 - 15* BTD and adjust from there - think I'm running about 15.
