big air filter pics?
big air filter pics?
Ive been tossing around the idea of putting a deep air cleaner sticking through the hood because its different, but dont want to unless i know what it looks like. Ive seen it on some other vehicles and i loved the look of it. Does anyone have a picture?

Wouldn't that exclude driving in the rain? Maybe you don't drive in the rain anyway, but...
It's also something that in my mind anyway - if it's done there better be some serious motor under the hood to back up the aggressive look, or else there's going to be alot of ricers getting alot of laughs at your expense.

not a good idea unless you add somekind of scoop as well. Just the filter stick out will look kinda bad, at least a scoop to cover it will clean up the apperance a bit.
but yea, no driving in the rain.
also, the engine is not centered in the car, so to be able to cut the hole in the center of the hood, you need an offset base aircleaner.
