best carb for my setup?

best carb for my setup?
Here are my exact car specs (this is the craigslist ad from when i bought the car)
383 6.3 motor. 350 bored .040 over. 3.75” stroke crank. This motor features the following
PBM Aluminum Heads, 220cc runners 2.02 and 1.60 valves 58cc chambers
Comp camshaft 510/520 lift 230/236 Duration 112 LSA
Speed pro coated pistons
Eagle I beams
Procomp camshaft
MLS heads gaskets
PBM 1.6 Roller rockers

750 edelbrock carb

This guy is great and helped me alot. Before the 700r4 passed on, he said it would be best to get a quadrajet carb. Now that im swapping the t56 he said it would be best to get a holley 750 dp with mechanical secondaires. Whats best? thanks alot

I'd probably use a 750 DP. That engine is pretty similar to mine.

A quadrajet is a good carb, and works great for an automatic. To get more response on a stickshift car however, a double pumper tends to work best. So both of his suggestions are good. With the T56, as Apeiron mentioned, a 750DP is a good choice.

Edelbrock or holley? Im leaning toward the holley. What do yall think?
