Should i trade carbs?
I have a 600 cfm edelbrock carb on my 383 stroker. it may have a vacuum leak because of my high idle. plus when i hooked a vacuum guage to it, i had low vacuum. anyway i swapped the auto to a t56 manual and wanted to get a carb with mechanical secondaries. everyone recomended a 750 double pumper and i have been looking for one. well i found a guy with a 306 in his carbed mustang that wanted to trade for my edelbrock. idk much about carbs, but he says its been jetted and tricked out for performance. should i trade carbs with him? also what should i check to see if its any good when i go to look at at tomorrow? thanks
heres a pic of his carb on his mustang.

Re: Should i trade carbs?
Definitely... 750 DP would be lightyears better on a healthy 383ci over a little 600 Edelbrock.
