increase CFM

I have a edelbrock 1405 600cfm and i just dont think its enough for my engine. If i install larger jets and ect, will this be the same as having a bigger carb? I still do not understand carbs.

Re: increase CFM

no that would just make the motor run richer, not increase the bore size of your carb to allow more air to flow through it. If you have a 383 stroker with heads/cam then it would be safe to say that you could run a 750 double pumper holley easily
