Holley carb probs! need Help!

problem is the rpm hangs for awhile. for instance when turning a corner at slow speed and giving a little gas and letting off, the rpm hangs at 2000 and keeps going for a period of time and then idles down. or on freeway in OD I will let off and it will act as if cruise control was on and keep running at rougly 2000 rpm for a bit. carb is 2 years old and this just started last fall. all linkage is working correctly. seems as if something is sticking, but not sure where to start or what to look for. thansk dan

see if it hangs on the rpm in park too. make sure your giving it a steady flow of gas with the pedal and not from the carb by hand. (as though you are driving) if it still does it and you know your spring is good then something may be wrong with your pedal or linkage is loose
