Low pressure air?

Reposting
I have an IROC hood with the 2 openings in the rear of the lowered areas cut out. If I make an air box that isolates the carb from the engine bay and seals to the hood, will the air that passes over the hood cause a low pressure area and pull fuel OUT of the carb, or , act as a "ram air" hood? At least act as a cold air intake?

Re: Low pressure air?

Did you go lean? What caused the fuel to siphon out, just the passing air over it?
I think Im gonna use this and call it a day.
