my z28 burning rich

im not sure what it mean for i car to be burning rich but everybody is telling me mine is and its not good for the car can anybody help me on how to fix it?

First if you have ever backfired through the carb you could have blown the powervalve which could be your problem.
Second where are you bleeder screws adjusted to? Usually you want them a turn and a half out. Put them all a turn and half out. Then one by one turn them in a quarter turn. If your idle increases then keep going. If you get to the point where you are less then a full turn out but it is still increasing the idle to turn them in you need to change to larger air bleeds.

make sure you are at operating temp first.
