carb issues?
I got the timing set today. Idles fine once its warm, and no problems when revving. But when I back off the throttle, it pops a little and the rpms drop to around 300-400 and the engine stumbles and usually dies. Any idea what could be causing this?
Its a 350 bored and stroked to 389, holley 750 vs, and no choke.

have you read this one? https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/carb...ng-sticky.html everything has to be correctly set in the carb for it to wotk properly. sounds sort of like a lean condition.
