Holley Issues
I have an 84 Z28 with a 350 that has had many mods done to it.... but who hasn't? I had MY FIRST Holley (4777-4) basically given to me and i slapped it on and it ran great. THEN.... a few days later it started leaking fuel and running horribly. Simple fix... i got a trickit and installed it(new power valve, needles, gaskets... the works.) Put it back on the car and turned it over... gas started to shoot out the top of both bowls.
So regrouping i looked at the tuning instructions and it was telling me how to use the sight glasses and tune the needles.... but i cant get the car it to stop spewing gas out of the sight glasses and the tubes on top long enough to even comprehend what is going on!!! Will someone (in detail) tell me how to stop the flooding problem and explain to me how to tune my carb from start to finish. PLEASE!!!!

Re: Holley Issues
Sounds like the floats are stock or WAY off on adjustment. Or could be something stuck in the seats holding the needles and keepinf floats from moving

Re: Holley Issues
try lightly tapping on the bowl with something plastic like a screw driver handle and see if that helps. if not you may need to take the bowls off to set the floats. make sure the float damper spring is there. then read this https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/carb...ng-sticky.html
