carb issues

carb issues
i just rebuilt my carb. its a holley 1850 and now all of a sudden the car runs WORSE!. hoping to get some advise on what could be the problem...
symptoms: random but frequent misfires, i believe the secondaries may be opening to soon and causing i to lug and fall on its face, occasional hesitation off idle... all info/advise is welcomed and appreciated.

are they vacuum secondaries? i would try to put a heavier secondary spring and see how it runs than. as for the off idle hesitation. that may mostly be the accelerator pump system. try a bigger squirtor and check the accelerator pump cam. u can see videos on how to diy on holleys website or youtube.
