Holley 4brl. issue
Holley 4brl. issue
Hey all ive got a problem that i cant seem to solve. Not sure how to describe it so a search was inconclusive. Ive got a 750 holley on my zz4 350. The prob is at a steady cruise on the highway going 50-70 mph the car will have a stumble especialy when letting off the throttle at highway speeds. I can feel the car jerking slightly while this is happening. Does not seem to do it at city driving speeds. I rebuilt the carb last winter and it ran great untill now. The fuel pressure is usualy a steady 5 1/2 - 6 PSi. I did have a problem with a small piece of gasket material keeping the primary float needle open and i fixed that. Im sure its not a missfire, ive checked all that. Thanks

Re: Holley 4brl. issue
A stumble when letting off of the gas? That sounds kind of odd to me. My car has a slight stumble when giving it a little gas at highway speeds. It is the secondaries starting to open, but the movement isn't agressive enough to give a good pump shot...hence, the lean stumble.
Have you messed with your timing curve at all? Running vacuum advance?
