I'm buying an electric choke conversion kit for my Camaro off of Ebay. The 1 spade conversion kits are about $30 cheaper than the 2 spade one. Whats the reason for this? Are the 2 spade caps better for some reason?

If by spades you mean terminals, I know the 2 spade is a 12v+ wire and a ground. Not sure how in the world a single connector would work, unless the cap is metal, and they assume you can get a ground through the carb. I've never seen a single terminal choke housing.

Is this a stock carb? Thought they all already had electric chokes?

I'm pretty sure that's the way stock carbs on these cars came, my Trans Am is CCC and it has a 1 terminal connection.

I have Edelbrock, it has 2 wires for the choke, since the choke housing is plastic it has to have a ground. Most Holley's I've seen are the same. So factory Qjet must get a ground elsewhere rather than on the choke cover.

Well my Edelbrock 1406 has 2 as well...I'm kind of stumped as to how this would work but I bought one lol.

The factory choke grounds through the choke housing. The plastic cover insulates the choke coil terminal from shorting to ground and bypassing the coil.
