it just falls on its face

I have an 87 LG4 Camaro all stock. just about every time I push the gas it completely looses all power then all of a sudden it comes back, and takes off. I'm not talking mashing it to the floor just pulling away from a stop. also when the speed limit increases I go to give it a little gas and it completely falls on its face. I think it is the TPS, but I figured I asked before I go messing with something that may not be the problem. any ideas? It also does it after it is up to temperature before then it runs perfect.

Nice picture. I just changed the fuel filter, can't check pressure, and my cat went missing several years ago.

U check timing lately, rotor, wires, plugs a good arc in a wire or bad plug would give a stumble like that or corroded cap/rotor

I was thinking about that but haven't gotten around to checking those yet. The car sat for about a year so I was planing to do a tune up I'll look at that

sounds like it could be an accelerator pump issue
