I need help/advice on CC carb
I've searched everywhere but no thread seems to have answered my question.
I've currently started on my 350. My 85 camaro has 4 barrel cc carb on the 305. Once I get the 350 complete, what do I do, keep the computer, upgrade the chip, and find a 350 cc carb? or go regular carb?
I don't see 350 cc carbs for sale anywhere. This is a daily driver. And the engine is aimed at 300 hp.
I'm so confused what to do, because everyone says the regular carb is a downgrade from a computer controlled carb in gas mileage.

Re: I need help/advice on CC carb
The carb that came on the 305 will work fine on a 350, as long as the cam is relatively tame. A part # for the cam you are using will help make that educated guess.

My '86 CC carb system handled a ZZ4-cam'd 350 with no complaints.

It's a factory roller lifter cam, so unless you have a factory roller lifter block, I wouldn't recommend it.
If you do have a factory roller lifter block, it's a nice cam. The lift is more than typical stock factory heads can handle, and a lot more than typical stock factory valve springs can handle.
