Carburetor fuel problem

I cannot get my 84 Camaro to run. Instead of rebuilding the Quadrajet, i opted for getting a different carb off an 85 i-roc from a salvage yard. After installing that and replacing much of the fuel line, it still doesnt run. Problem is theres way too much fuel running from the pump to the carburetor, so much that its just bubbling up from the top of it.

Anybody know what i should do?

Re: Carburetor fuel problem

If fuel is pouring out the top or the vent tube then the needle/seat or
float is stuck or bad.
