hey guys. I bought a 91 RS with a 305 that was pulled out, he left all the wiring harness in there. I'm putting in a 383 or a 406. A carbed motor, this is just a summer car so i took out heat, a/c. What wires do I need to keep and what can i get rid of? I need to know how to identify them too, i want the extra harness out so i can paint the engine bay. thanks

 

keep the pink wire for power to the dizzy. white wire for tack. all alternator wires. i also kept the ecm in and ran the electric fuel pump off of it as well. then i left one of the red tbi injector wires hoked up for the choke on the carb.

 

pretty much the entire harness comming from the passanger side can go. the driver side needs to stay. check out the various carb swap threads, theyll have all the info you need.
