Upgrade to Holley 4 Barrel
I was just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with the edelbrock performer intake and 4bbl holley carb for the chevy 60* V6. From the little i could find theres a lot of hate for Holley carbs in general. On the other hand the stock carb kind of sucks to begin with and there arent any bolt on upgrades when it comes to the stock manifold. Any info and/or opinions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't know about "Holley hate" in general, but I can understand how it might exist in the 2.8 world.

The smallest 4bbl Holley carbs I can think of are 390 CFM, which might be a little big yet for a 2.8. The selection of features is pretty limited in that size as well.

five - Yep. Edelbrock sells it as a kit as well as seperate parts and i didnt feel like finding all the links for the parts.
Aperion - I realize it may be a little big but its not going on a stock 2.8 so i wasnt all that concerned really.
Im mainly looking to see if there are any worthwhile advantages to going with this setup over the stock 2 barrel. That is, besides me not really liking the stock setup and the overall limited options i have.
I also have a full mpfi setup i could swap in but thats a ton more work. Decisions, decisions.
