Holley 770 with 700r4

I'm trying to decide on a carb for my 350 swap and really liked the Holley 770 Street Avenger, but it says on Holley's website that it does not work with AOD transmissions. Is this true? i have seen several members signatures saying they have a holley 770 with a 700r4 and was wondering if I could modify it to work. Thanks.

First, why vacuum secondaries? Not necessary, regardless of what you've heard or have been told. Having had both, I'll not have another VS carb for a street driven car. Double pumpers work so much better in every way.

Now, "AOD" is a Ford transmission. So, not applicable to a TH700R-4.

To use a Holley carb on a TH700R-4 equipped vehicle, you need to get a TV "geometry corrector" bracket to attach to the Holley throttle arm. Make sure you get a Holley version, because there are also Edelbrock versions of the corrector bracket out there.

For the record, how will this 350 be built? Cam, intake, heads, exhaust, etc.? And, how will you be using the car primarily?
