Carb removed, fuel still coming out of line

Excuse me for starting another thread, but I cant find what to do and I kinda need to know now.

I removed the carb, but fuel is still coming out of the fuel line-to-carb. How do I stop it

Loosen the gas cap.

You could also plug/cap the line.

Thanks, I ended up clamping a rubber hose around the line with a hose clamp and then used vice grips to clamp the rubber hose shut

Another trick is to use vacuum plugs.

you can also d/c the return line, if you still have one.
