So I got a 1984 Z28 carbed engine, and I was wondering what would be the best smog legal if any out there for my car, because my carb is already leaking and is giving me problems, thanks!

and I am also on a budget around $150 so hopefully if any of u guys out there got something in mind i'de appreciate it if you would let em know, thanks!

Im rebuilding mine, never touched a carb before. Im pretty sure, everyone might say this, the stock carb is the best carb when in good condition of course.

Rebuilding it is cheaper then having it rebuilt.

You have the quadrajet carb with the sensors on it right? Also living in California.. definitely rebuild that one.

The only smog legal carb is the original. There are no replacements.
