running with the key off

ok so i did a swap my tbi to a carb and when i turn off the key it still runs for a min. im using the tbi fuel pump and i have a pressure reg up front and i was wondering for whom done this how did u stop the built up pressure so ur car stop running when u turn the key off

Do you have a return line?

What is the timing set at? What carb? Is the carb setup properly?

Sounds like dieseling which can be too much timing, too rich idle mixture, too hot temp range spark plugs. etc.

Try leaving the car in drive when you shut the engine off. This usually will make it quit but you need to check your timing and tune the carb first.

Agreed with bestracing, sounds like dieseling. I had the same issue when i did my swap and it was timing related.
