Not I, but it looks like a nice one. If you end up getting that one you could give it a thumbs up or down. Welcome to the forum.

Well I just found a Mallory 4309 for 84.99 with the 15% discount at advance auto.com so I guess I'll go with the tried and true for that price.

Emission + ECM Carb = EGR

No Emission testing = No EGR

Re: Fuel Pressure regulator question.

So, the 4309, properly connected & adjusted on our cars, should be able to have 5-7 lbs at the carb with existing factory 5/16" return line.

Would it be accurate to say, everybody here with a TBI to carb/4309 swap does not have any issues with excessive carb-side fuel pressure, unless there is a restricted return downstream of the regulator?
Thanks

Yes I would agree that if you are getting excessive fuel pressure to the carb then you are restricted down stream. More than likely the short section of rubber hose near the tank is either swollen inwards or kinked. If it has never been replaced you should just replace it due to age anyway. It's a cheap and easy fix.

On rare occasion the regulator could have a pressure creep problem.

So, the factory 5/16" return line is always sized adequately for use with a TBI fuel pump & 4309 reg then, right?

It should be because there are higher flowing factory systems using the same size return line without problems.
