Roughly what the sticker says; if memory serves, something around 700 out of gear, 600ish in gear.
Don't trust the trim package in your dash for that, they're usually wrong, specifically by reading WAY higher than reality. Sometimes as much as twice or even 3 times what the actual engine RPM is.

When it first fires up overnight-cold it's SUPPOSED to idle higher- it's built into the choke linkage. But when the engine gets driven around and warms up some it should drop back down to a normal idle speed, called "curb idle." And I think Sofa is right about the curb idle RPM spec and not trusting the factory tach.

ohhh ok and how do I adjust the idleing n my carb...I knwo theres a little screw on the sdide by where the accelerator linkage is at but my idle is still high....I dont see and vacum leacks and ive plugged up my hoses that are open.........
Re: To what RPMs do i set my Q-JET to idle at..?
Is the choke getting fully open when the engine is warmed up? If not, it's going to hang onto the last step of the "fast idle cam" built into the choke linkage and never drop down to curb idle fully, especially when the weather gets cooler.
Most common reason is that the choke heater wire simply got knocked off the terminal on the choke element (round black thing on the pass. side of the carb with a single wire electrical terminal built into it).

Have you verified there are no vacuum leakes?
