Ok, so im a bit new to this tv cable thing,so inlisted the help from summit racing for my issue. Apparently, they can't help me. Last stop before I call edelbrock. I was told by them that edelbrock's 8036 bracket kit would be all that was needed to correctly align my 700r4 tv cable to the carb. I installed it today and the alignment looks good, but the cable is like 4 inches short. The kit works great for my throttle cable, but I really don't understand the issues with this cable. Anybody have the answer to this mystery, so I can finally testdrve this car?

Can you post a pic of how you have it mounted?

I might be able to do that tomorrow. But it just mounts under the last two intake bolts. If have seen one, its a very simple bracket.

There are a few here that use it, but IDK if they used a geometry correcter or if its not needed?
I used the Holley cable mounts & geometry corecter on our Holley carb & summit stage2 intake.

How does the geometry corrector hook up?

Its an " L " shape, connects to the carb throttle arm

I'm not sure that would do the trick, unless it extends back a few inches. I guess I need to see what it looks like when its installed on an edelbrock. It's no wonder why my last camaro build was a 5 speed.

If I didn't need this thing fully functional in the next couple months, id put a 5 speed in it. I must be search crippled, I couldn't get anything to come up. I tried the advance search and the search box at the top of the page.
