check valve in the fuel line?
OK, I have been having a problem with my carb draining back into my fuel line when the car sits for awhile. Has anyone ever installed an check valve in the fuel line to prevent this? Also, I have a clear plastic fuel filter and sometimes even when I have a full tank of gas the filter will start to be empty. Kinda like fuel boiling but not. What could cause this?

What carb do you have? The factory used an inlet filter that included a check valve.
Those clear filters are dangerous, especially if plastic (not much better if glass). I highly recommend getting rid of it and putting in a metal can type filter.

I have always ran the plastic filters and had good luck with them. I am running a EdleBrock 650 cfm with Edlebrock intake. Mechanical fuel pump.
