I am looking into this carb for when I do my 2.8 v6 engine swap to a 305, This carb sounds like a really good fit, but Im not to sure if this carb can be put on a 305, any information would be awesome.

I have that carb on my 305. Holley 570 Street Avenger with quick change vacuum secondary spring, secondary metering plate with interchangeable jets and std dual fuel feed set up like a double pumper. You will need an aftermarket intake to fit the carb or if the 305 has the stock intake you will need an adapter. The adapter makes it hard to get a good air cleaner on the car. Your better off going with a performer or similar intake to start with.
