3/4" Carb spacer worth the Install?

Alright so yesterday I was at the junkyard and picked up a 3/4" spacer for only $6 so I was what like Wat the heck why not. Im thinking of installing it on my cc-q-jet, I have a cowl hood so clearance inst much of an issue apart from it looking taller which is kinda what I want to go for the look, will it see any gains performance wise?

maybe, maybe not... what kind of a spacer? if it's a 4 hole, then you might see a slight torque increase due to the better signal to the venturis, if it's an open spacer and you have an otherwise stock engine with stock exhaust, you might actually kill torque and power due to the extra plenum volume killing the signal to the venturis..
