Hi everyone... I have a 91 chevrolet c1500 and just had the 5.7 motor rebuilt with a thumper cam installed , basicly a stock 350 with the cam added , i just really wasnt looking for anything too strong but the builder talked me into doing this cam and i kinda liked the idea of having a little lope to the idle. With that being said im in the process of converting it to carb and i know need a intake and carb obviously and a pressure regulator for the stock pump. Can anyone recommend to me what size carb i should run for this setup and intake please? i plan on getting new heads later on down the road aswell.

 

A 600 cfm carb should do the job.
I did this swap on my truck last year.I used a machanical fuel pump for mine.
You will need a he I distributor as well.

 

Thanks for the reply , I guess i plan on going with the hei dis and coil pack. Any other problems you ran into or that just about cover it?
