fuel pressure gauge
just bought a 670 holley street avenger have a tbi 350 coverted to carb. im using a tbi fuel pump. and i have the mallory fuel pressure regulator 4309. im needing a fuel gauge. im not sure which one to use. any help?
Re: fuel pressure gauge
Just don't use a liquid-filled gague. They can be as flaky as a bowl of Raisin Bran. Half of them don't read right out of the box. The other half get flaky within a couple years.

Re: fuel pressure gauge
You'd also need an isolator if a liquid (mechanical) gauge is going to be installed inside. I've never had a problem with mechanical gauges though.
As far as I know there are two levels as far as pressure goes, and with a carb you would want the lower pressure version with the pickup/sensor installed between the regulator and the carb. IIRC 6-7 lbs of fuel pressure so I think the gauge would go up to 10-15 psi instead of 80-100 psi.
