tpi to carb distributor question

ive got a msd distributor, 6al box, and blaster coil....my question is will this set up work once i switch over to carb or will i have to get the old style hei distributor

You need a vacuum advance distributor not a computer controlled one.

I don't see why it wouldn't work. I'm running the msd 6al ignition box, blaster 2 coil and a msd distributor.

I guess I should clarify I'm currently using the msd distributor for the tpi.... will it work for the carb as well using the same wiring and such...just wanna make sure I have all my "t's" crossed and "i's" dotted before I start this lil project

You need a non computer controlled distributor to control advance and retard the timing. If you leave in the tpi distributor your timing will never change from the base setting.
