Help with picking the right set up.

ok so I have been doing a lot of research and I believe I know what I am going to get for my carb setup on my 350.

I was thinking this intake manifold-

this distributor-
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/su...01-1/overview/

and this carb-
http://www.ebay.com/itm/EDELBROCK-rebuilt-carburetor-600-CFM-with-E-choke-1406-/301124197659?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item461c669d1b&vxp=mtr
the engine is a roller 350 out of a 91 Camaro. bored to a 355 with flat top pistons and stock heads. I did a lot of research and am thinking that a 600 cfm carb with vacuum secondarys would make sense for me. if anyone has input on any of this id appreciated just wanted last minute advice before I ordered everything

also this distributor is ok right? id be interested in buying some performance stuff if anyone could recommend anything

Re: Help with picking the right set up.

Intake and dist look OK.

Terrible carb.

Go with this one instead. http://www.jegs.com/i/Holley/510/0-6210/10002/-1

You don't want vac sec.

If it's a "roller 350 out of a 91 Camaro", should be getting a roller cam. What are you sliding into it?

Re: Help with picking the right set up.

The distributor should be fine, get a RPM performer or equivalent square bore manifold. Look on craigslist. As for the carb if you want to go edelbrock over holley get the 1405 or be prepared to jet the 1406 to 1405 specs.

Personally I am not getting into an edelbrock vs holley debate.

but I will. between the two. holleys REQUIRE constant tuning. you cant just put it on and go. they need set up for the particular application. they ARE the best for racing...not so much on a street car. edelbrocks are more user friendly, as in, they don't have to be tuned much beyond the idle speed and mixture screws.edelbrocks are more tolerant for a novice .holleys make more power. but you have to have a good grasp of how AND why you have to tune it
