someone help!!!

305 stock rochester carb 700R4 100% bone stock. And few miles. I had my carb rebuilt by a professional whos been doing it for years. I got a vacuumf diagram and everything.is correct but the car wont stay on by its self for more then ten seconds and when i drive it it sufficates or floods i cant tell but its very eratic and even stalls while im driving. Ran out of ideas. Please tell me any ideas you have

"Professional" is a hot topic these days, especially since Qjets aren't common any more.

What year/model is your car?

These carbs, once they're re-built, need to be tuned once put back on the car, they aren't "plug and play", especially since for the rebuild everythign was taken apart and put back together. At a minimum you'll need to:

You'll need to adjust your IAB (Two big screws on the front) 4 turns out from lightly seated.

You'll then need a dwell meter and adjust the dwell of the carb by adjusting the IAC

Possibly reset the lean and rich stops.

Does the carb "Click" when you turn the ignition to "on"? It is electric so you need to make sure the connectors are hooked up.

Is it throwing any codes?
