I just used a multi meter on the one wire coming out of the gas tank (because my car was swapped to a carb 350 by the last owner) and found that it was reading 69.5 ohms. When i measured the voltage on the pink wire coming from the dash it measured 5 volts. I thought the gas tanks operated on about 3 volts. If thats true how could i lower the current?

Re: Quick fuel guage question

You can't. The entire car should be 12v on power wires.
