Marine carb on car?
Hi
During some troubleshooting with my car I noticed that I have an Edelbrock 1409 carb, mounted by the PO. That is a 650 marine carb. 2 questions about this:
Is it ok to use on a car, or should I get a new one? What are the differences between this and a 1407?

Re: Marine carb on car?
A marine carb is fine. Back when I had a carbureted inboard ski boat with the 600 squarebore Holley, the only difference was that it had a U-tube to dump any over flow from a stuck float down the bores instead of letting it shoot straight up and being a fire hazard in the bilge.
