Fuel Pump Issues after TBI to Carb Swap
Alright. I have just finished swapping my 305 TBI to 350 Carb and I am getting tripped up on the fuel delivery. When the ecm is unplugged, the fuel pump wont run at all. Does the ecm directly control the fuel pump? When the fuel pump did work it pulsed for about 5 seconds the dropped. Any ideas on how to get the electric in tank fuel pump working without the ecm? Thanks in advance.

there should be a relay on the drivers side firewall near the fender. you will have to tap a switched 12v wire into one of the wires on the relay. hold on let me get a pic for you

you will need it find a pink wire with a black stripe, those are all 12v switched. then tap that wire into the green with white stripe wire on your fuel pump relay. here is a pic.
