i picked up the car yesterday it needs a little work but is solid except for a drives floor pan. every thing else is good it has a 5 speed with t tops and dose not have power anything. car runs good for the most part except for when i go wot it wants to bog but if i am not getting on it runs just fine. my choke light comes on often and for some reason it thinks it always cold. so it wont open up the secondaries witch i think is part of my issue anybody know why its doing this thanks.

 

the choke light is also the charge light, check your alternator output.a bad alternator would cause it to bog at hi RPM.

 

i went out to the parts store and got a new alternator choke light is gone but it still bogs what do i try now

 

check your codes,first. and repair what the ECM tells you it needs.
