In tank fuel pump
Does anybody see an issue with me jumping out the fuel pump to see if it works and then to pump about 3 gals of fuel out of the tank ? I got this car ( 87 Iroc Z ) as a roller, I don't know if the in tank pump works, also there is about 3 gals of gas in the tank that I would like to get out of the tank and really don't want to have to drop the tank. If the pump does not work I know I will have to drop the tank.

No problem. Just be sure you watch the gas and when the tank is "empty", shut the pump off so it doesn't overheat and burn up.

Very important to not run the pump dry. It'll last moments if it is.
