Help choosing new Quadrajet

I'm an EFI guy.

Now that I have that out of the way, I need a new carb for my Corvette. I basically have a ZZ4 motor going into it in the fall, and I have a stock L48 in it currently.

Looking for something that I can use on both motors. No emissions magic. Electric choke would be nice.

If anyone can point (or link me) in the right direction that would be great.

Sean Murphy Induction built Q-Jet IMO would work GREAT for both. Just let him know you plan to run it without EGR and on a ZZ4 so he can jet it up appropriately.

I do my own so I only know about the quality of tuner shop carbs by internet reputation. Sean Murphy, Jet, and The Carb Shop (Ontario, California- not Canada) all seem to turn out quality pieces. Jet sells them in "stages", which means you want something roughly around Stage 2 for a street performance application. SMI and The Carb Shop will both tune to suit, to the extent possible.

Cliff Ruggles at www.cliffshighperformance.com built mine. He's written several books on Qjets.

Another choice you might want to consider is the Holley 6210. 650 CFM spreadbore DIRECT REPLACEMENT for mid-late 60s Q-Jets.

Pretty sure there's an electric choke kit that fits it.
