Tbi to carb, questions I need answers..

I just did a overhaul to my engine, took off the tbi and rebuilt a carb. Reason I'm converting, 400+ hp 377ci sbc stroker tbi wasn't going to cut it, out of work right now so I'm not buying a 2000 +$ efi system. Therefore, carburetor time. I have a vacuum secondary holley carb 750cfm. I just need to know what I have to do to the harness to make things work. I have internal stock type fuel pump, with a regulator, hei coil cap dizzy coming in tomorrow, tbi style alternator, have a/c, unsure of condition and working order. Any help, advive, wiring diagrams would help loads. I heard I'd have to buy a tcc lockup kit if I want to use overdrive still? 700r4 tranny. Thanks.

I am currently doing a similar conversion. You should read the welcome sticky first. It has many answers. The 7004r needs an adapter for the TV cable to maintain the proper geometry. Holley has a video on this that lists parts numbers. http://www.austinthirdgen.org/index.php?pid=19 I found this on a post about this very subject.

If you want overdrive you need the oil pressure switch kit installed. You do not need overdrive. If you have not already cut out your harness you should do more research on this forum about the wiring. There are threads for most of the features you would likely want to keep including cruise.
