Fuel tank question
Are our fuel tanks a 2 piece design. I see they sell replacement them filled necks
When I turn mine sideways with fill neck facing down I get fuel dribbling out around where the fill neck meets the tank

Re: Fuel tank question
Not sure what you mean by "2 piece".
The filler neck is soldered to the main tank, and if it leaks there, it needs to be repaired or replaced.

Re: Fuel tank question
Rock Lobster lists replacement tanks with or without fill necks. Maybe this is what the OP is referring to?

Why they would offer a tank without a fill neck is puzzling.
I replaced my fuel tank a week or so after I drove it off the used car lot with a GM replacement because it leaked at the tank/fill neck joint when full.
