Holley Needle/Seat

I've recently cleaned the needle/seat twice unsuccessfully (and adjusted float level): the driver's side booster leaks with the engine off which causes a small gas pool on the manifold. Time for a new needle/seat or is there another issue at hand?

I don't know that much about carbs, but that may just be a gasket issue? The gasket under my set screw on my Holley was bad and gas would leak out from under it even with the float level set properly

How hot is your fuel line after a shutdown?

Yesterday, I ran the car long enough for the choke to go off, then shut down, so I wouldn't think the line would have been very hot. Never an issue in the past at any rate.

Re: Holley Needle/Seat

Replaced the needle/seat and shot some carb cleaner down the air bleeds (I wish I would have tried that first). Currently no leaking. Fingers crossed.

All good.
