Quadrajet Choke Pulloff Vacuum Connection?
Hello All,
I've got an 82 Camaro with a 305 and Quadrajet that I believe to be original. Electric choke. The pull off has a line going from it to the base of the carb, as shown in the picture. There's a tee where it goes into the carb and right now there's nothing attached to that tee. I assume it needs to be hooked up to vacuum in order for the pull off to work. Does anyone know where I should be running a vacuum line to? Thanks

I see you still have the original "coaxial" style CTS connector. That thing is DEATH. You should get rid of it. Replace with the newer version (from 30 yrs ago or less) with the 2 pins. They can come with the new pigtail when you buy them at the parts store. Physically open the box and inspect to verify that the pigtail is in the box.

DO NOT use either the stoooopid Scotchlok things they supply, or crimp butt splices. Solder & heatshrink instead.
Besides eliminating the possibility of odd intermittent Check Engine lights, it'll probably make your car run better and maybe use a bit less gas.

Found the line on the air cleaner and it's now at home on that vacuum port on the carb, so all is good. Choke pulloff seems to be working good. Thanks for the advice on the CTS connector. I'll put that on the long list of things to do.
I appreciate the feedback
