Intake for zz4

I have a 92z with a zz4 that i bracket race and drive. Will a Perfomer RPM help? Somebody said if you cut a 1/2'' out of the plenum it helps? I run a 650dp w/1'' spacer and a BTE powerglide,

Well, nobody else took a shot at this.

I'd think the RPM would be fine the way it is. A slightly bigger carb (or a Demon) might help as well.

On that track, that is. I assume you currently have the ZZ4 intake on there. On the street, it's probably a little better until you're getting the R's up, where the RPM would take over.
