Holley tuning low end power.

I have a holley 750 dp mech secondaries. 50cc squirter on the primary black cam on secondaries. From a dig on the converter to wot I'm lagging till about 3500. From a 20 roll at 2krpm to wot she screams. I know part of this is gearing and converter and torque output of the motor. When I do go wot it isn't really falling anymore but popping out the exhaust till it picks up and then just sort of lugs itself forward till runs like a bat outta hell at 3500.
squirter are 31 primary and secondary. I know vaccume secondaries would be a better option but what I have is what I have.

What I'm trying to achieve is low end power through the carb. My thoughts would be trying to get the secondaries to open later or possibly smaller idle air bleeds. Thoughts?

You need a 30cc pump with orange cam in #2 position...

Before I swapped to the 50cc pump i went through each cam with the 30cc and each position. I saw no noticeable benefit till I went to the 50cc pump. The stumble went away now it's just not powerful through the low rpm range.

Re: Holley tuning low end power.

First of all, the carb is too big for a 305 and a automatic trans. You're not gonna have any low-end with that setup, and it's gonna suck fuel like there's no tomorrow.. The 50cc pump is for a big discharge nozzle (way bigger than a #31) and usually for race applications...
